Customer Marketing Manager

Department Description
The Wireline Access Networks Marketing department is responsible providing customer marketing for Motorola's FTTP and FTTN portfolio driving global revenue opportunities from ultra-broadband service providers.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
This position will be located in-region. This role is responsible for market development and customer marketing driving targeted international customer wins for Motorola’s Wireline Access Networks business. The successful candidate will be the primary business unit advocate for the customer working directly with sales and regionally-based marketing teams to build competitive value propositions and differentiated solutions to drive revenue from major accounts.

Specific Knowledge/Skills
1) Developing consultative sales and marketing strategies, developing competitive positioning and communicating Motorola’s value proposition to the customer.
2) Determining/clarifying customer requirements, communicating customer requirements to product management, and maximizing alignment of solution roadmaps with customer requirements.
3) Analyzing customer strategies, priorities and business cases, competitive intelligence, and solution alternatives, bringing a rigorous level of critical debate to the solution development process to ensure that the account and product strategies are sound and aligned.
4) Developing competitively focused technical marketing presentations, white papers, and customer applications, supporting trade shows and delivering presentations at industry events, leading RFx responses including developing response strategies, coordinating response resources, developing solution partnerships and establishing key marketing messages
5) Assembling internal teams across multiple product organizations to develop broad solutions that expand Motorola’s competitive advantage, including identifying products and services and mobilizing internal stakeholders and/or external partners to fill the gaps.
